Jeff's interest in teamwork began in his teenage years, sparked by a curiosity about why statistically superior teams often fail to win championships. Through his experiences playing and coaching on successful teams, he learned invaluable lessons about player alignment, communication, goal setting, systems design, in-game strategy, feedback, and the value of human connection.
Jeff brought these insights into his family business, which manufactures high-speed digital printing equipment that is exported globally. Joining as the sixth employee, he was given the freedom to explore and experiment with management techniques. Jeff applied his sports lessons to his management style, understanding that the best teams are highly focused, united in their common pursuit, and willing to sacrifice for each other to achieve their goal.
Jeff's i4C Success Model, encapsulates his research, experiences and process on building high-functioning teams, reflecting his belief in the power of the collective.
